The Gem of Meruna

These days, most Leey, humanoid creatures on the planet Gordeky, live in fear: of the awful beasts that roam their village and attack at will; of Jezebella and the vicious acts she orders those beasts, the Chalkies, to commit against the Leey under her iron reign. Kiluna is different; she lives in hope. Though she has faced her fair share of trials, those hardships were offset by her grandmother’s tales of her own childhood in a much happier time, before Jezebella took over. In those days, all of the Leey helped each other, and worked hard to make sure that everyone had exactly what they needed. The Chalkies didn’t exist, and therefore posed no threat to the peaceful community. Instead, the animals that roamed the Forests of Infinity were as peaceful as the Leey. There had been talk of a Gem on Gordeky’s sister planet that could somehow bring about great happiness, but no one really needed it then. After the brutal death of her father and eventually her grandmother, Kiluna decides that she can’t sit back and watch as Jezebella tears more Leey apart. She must do something. She must find the Gem of Meruna.
