In the giant’s kingdom, the giant’s wife thought she heard something roll across the floor. How peculiar, she thought, I can’t see anything; whatever it was must have rolled out of the door. I’ll look for it later, and thinking no more of it she fed the cat who lapped up his milk, far too busy to make a noise. “Ah,” she said, “peace and quiet and time for a nice cup of tea.”
