Michigan author Ronald L. Herron, won a 2012 Readers' Favorite Gold Medal for his debut novel REICHOLD STREET. He repeated the performance with a 2013 Readers' Favorite Silver Medal in the Young Adult Fantasy genre for his story collection ZEBULON. In 2016 he won a Readers' Favorite Bronze Medal for his horror/thriller BLOOD LAKE.

He writes an ongoing blog about indie publishing called PAINTING WITH LIGHT...where he talks about everything from other indie authors, to e-Book formatting, to the ins-and-outs of constructing a lively, interesting story.
