Handbook of Clinical Nutrition and Aging

This resource for health professionals aims to present a comprehensive overview of the role of clinical nutrition in preserving the health of the elderly—especially those suffering from chronic disease. Contributions from an international panel of scientists and clinicians are organized into four sections: trends in the nutritional aspects of aging, the fundamentals of geriatric nutrition, the effects of nutrition on geriatric syndromes, and clinical topics.
