The Secret Scars of a Child

Latresa D. Myers, born in Berkeley, California, currently lives in Modesto, California. She worked as an animal groomer for 13 years, and retired when she injured herself. She is now a 35-year-old mother of two handsome young men. Ms. Myers was inspired to write this book, with the help of God, about events in her life. She hopes to restore faith in the people of the world and inspire them to hold onto their faith and prayer even when times are hard and there seems to be no way out. It is those times that one must remember exactly where the darkness of the world comes from, and from where the light of the universe shines.
