Stan Iverson walked away from a thirty year law enforcement career with hope of finding more meaning in his life. What he found was loneliness, depression and an abundance of whiney clients. A stranger in a bar changes that when he offers the former cop $50,000 to end his life. The stranger has a past he wants to escape but wants Iverson to expose. Iverson's trepidation is replaced by curiosity when they are both attacked outside the bar. A newly formed alliance with a Paiute Indian moves the investigation into the unlikely linked worlds of foster care and murder for hire.
