Jet’s catch and final touchdown were beyond the physical capabilities of a mere mortal. He had inadvertently showcased his incredible talents, leaving every scout at the combine in awe. Representatives from hundreds of colleges relentlessly mobbed him outside our house, at school, and wherever he frequented. They were given unprecedented resources and discretion in their recruitment of him. The scholarship offers, money, and gifts offered were as vast as his talent. When the gifts failed, gorgeous female recruiters visited him.
