Murder Takes a Cruise

The sheriff and her husband are taking a long deferred cruise in the Caribbean. A fellow passenger who fails to make the ship’s departure from Barbados is later found murdered on the island, and because he hails from upstate New York the local police inspector solicits the sheriff’s help in solving the crime. She soon finds herself questioning the victim’s alumni tour group colleagues and discovering that several of them may have had reasons for wishing him dead. In a dramatic departure from her usual job, Carol must work closely with the Barbadian inspector to bring the killer to justice.
