Missing

Jeremy Smith retired from the San Francisco homicide detail to teach criminal justice. Now, he and his wife, Marie, have moved to Tucson, Arizona, where Smith also works as a consultant with the Tucson police department—thanks to an old colleague, Mark Stevens, who is one of Tucson’s assistant chiefs of police. When Smith gets called in on a missing persons case, Marie also goes missing. And there are several other people who seem to be wandering lost in the desert as well.
