Voices of Nebraska: Diverse Landscapes, Diverse Peoples

The University of Nebraska Press has been publishing prestigious and award-winning literature for seventy-five years, but this contest is a first for the Press. In celebration of its seventy-fifth anniversary, the Press has collected an anthology of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry written by Nebraska undergraduate college students and high school seniors in the theme of “Voices of Nebraska: Diverse Landscapes, Diverse Peoples.” Drawing from their experiences with nature, family traditions, and history, the budding writers selected for this volume are officially joining the ranks of the Press’s countless published writers, every one of whom has helped shape both the Press and the state of Nebraska.
