The Works of a Schizophrenic: Illness or a Gift

This book includes art work, a play, poetry and my story. It is about my journey of healing through writing. Overcoming partner abuse, mental illness and being institutionalized. My hope is that anyone who has been abused or diagnosed with a mental illness will be able to relate to my book. This book is for everyone. I hope to decrease the stigmatization of those diagnosed with an illness and illustrate that labels don't stop people from having successful lives.
