My Three Best Friends

Zack uses his imagination to keep himself from getting bored. Being a respectful and obedient son, he follows his dad’s instructions and talks to a tree. He formed a strong bond and friendship with the giant granddaddy tree. He longed for a friend his own age to play sports and fight imaginary pirates with his wooden swords. Surprisingly he got two more best friends, and life was grand. After a surprise accident, Tom, Zack’s dad, learned to really appreciate his role as dad. Angie, Zack’s mom, was a hardworking wife and a patient mom. Her stress level was high though when she had to assume two jobs. It’s a heartwarming book and reminds you of the true meaning of family.
