The Exalted Kingdom of Values and Wisdom: Third Edition

The divan is composed of 30 poems under 5 themes with a total of 600 verses. It is rich in wisdom and instills and emphasizes certain universal values and ethics. The divan opens a window for the reader to better understand and know about Arabic and Islamic cultures through the eyes of a son of these cultures. In addition, it familiarizes the reader with some topics from Arabic and English literature. Not only is the divan a poetry book, but it is also a book of culture, literature, memories, and some transferrable lessons and experiences encountered by the author. The divan embraces diversity in different aspects such as the diversity of themes (love, family, storytelling, riddles, and personal experiences), the diversity of topics (love, friendship, expatriation, justice, and miscommunication, to name a few), the diversity of emotions (some poems are touching, such as elegies, while others are hilarious), and the diversity of poem types and rhyming schemes (sonnets, limericks, acrostics, lists and confessional poems, etc.).
