This book isn't meant to be read from cover to cover. You can pick it up and start most anywhere. Just flip it open and gain some common sense inspiration.
If you look real closely at the "Zen-ish" proverbs, you'll realize that most of them were conjured up by men that mostly sat around and contradicted themselves. If these people were around today coming up with these phrases, we'd all call a "BS" foul on them. That being said, my Uncle Oswalt who is quite the character, has rewritten several Zen-ish sayings and inserted the word poo to bring clarity to the aforementioned point.
