This book is the first of its kind, giving a comprehensive guide of all forms of bullying – from the Playground, Cyber Bullying, Domestic Violence, Workplace, Elder and Systematic Abuse. In being comprehensive we can unravel bullying, why, how and what motivates bullies; giving true insight into why we fear it and how to overcome those fears. Whilst mainly focused on empowering victims to defeat bullies, recover and become resilient for future protection, this book challenges the many myths and incorrect opinions that have allowed this Global problem to become so out of proportion with Humanity’s ideals. I explain in detail to bullies that their insatiable need for power will doom them to failure. Bullying has been around for centuries, but the tactics have not changed; victims are not aware of this because of the way society has portrayed and pandered to bullies. My goal is to change the way we look at this problem, to stop the victim blaming, instead to give the tools needed so victims can gain the upper hand. I encourage all Social Workers, Counsellors and Psychologists to rethink the way they deal with clients who are bullies, to show them how their “victim empathy” training is actually arming the bullies with more tools. This book details the thought processes of bullies, how easily they have manipulated Counsellors, in turn learning more about the Psychological damage that they can cause to their victims. Just because a bully turns up to Counselling doesn’t mean they are there to be healed. I draw attention to Governments on why this problem is escalating statistically and in ferocity, giving realistic, affordable and affective solutions to control bullying. Informative, challenging and essential in the fight against the devastation bullying causes. Everyone admits they “don’t know how to fix this”, the problem is they are only looking at one small area of bullying, it is only with full understanding of a problem that we can begin to fix it. Not holding back, I expose all bullies on all levels, failure to do so limits the ability of victims to overcome their fears and/or can lead them from one bully right into the path of the next. Full disclosure equals full knowledge and as the old saying goes “forewarned is forearmed”. Up until the last 10 years I was able to defeat the bullies and get some sort of support from the “system”, but this system has since “lost its way” and has been turned against victims. In seeking justification for this, the answer from those within is either the “system” is a bully or it doesn’t know how to help. The worst of Humanity has given me a first hand look at how easy it is for them to manipulate their way into our lives and how hard it is to get rid of them. Often supporters do not know what to say to victims, their words can sound accusatory, even a tone of voice is sometimes all it takes to send a victim into the deepest abyss. I have included a lot of hints and tips for parents, friends, teachers, and supporters; there is something for everyone in this book. With the dramatic increase in statistics, never has it been clearer that there is a lack of proper education, leadership and Justice. By combining all three into one book with full disclosure of all secrets, victims have a better chance of success. Society has become so unruly that I have made it my mission in life to set the record straight, to help bring about realistic positive change World wide so we can all live a life of equality, free from abuse, free from fear, as suggested by the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Victims do not need to suffer hell in silence any more. We should not be losing our teenagers to suicide because of bullies, women should not be murdered by their partners and children should be able to be children without the fear of bullies in their lives. We, the people can fix this problem, we just have to get together, talk about it and show our support as a collective. There are many things we can do in our local communities that are cost effective, easy to establish and by banding together we can work towards getting Governments to update Legislation to suit society as we know it today.
