This book is a means to allow the child to be involved in the artistic process, to be not merely a passive consumer but to be part of the creative process, which goes along with the new trend in education—to learn to produce, which is an important part of the learning process. It also goes along with the newest trend in education, which promotes STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. The book teaches the old adage “It is better to give than to receive.” It is also about our misconceptions.
