The Nigeria I Know

"I want people to know the Nigeria I know," Royce texted me on Instagram. I formed a friendship across the globe, in Africa. I am an American. I have learned so much in just three months. As Royce sent me wondrous photos, I had a vision of our words and his photos telling a story. This is a story of cultural education and humanity. We aren't professional journalists or photographers. Through Instagram and WhatsApp, we have become social media friends. We have laughed, cried, understood and misunderstood each other. We have created this book for ourselves and for you.
