This is a love song where two worlds come together, one of the fame and fortune on Nashville's country music stage and one of children thrown away by society. A Nashville prostitute sells her 10 year old, Missy, to pimp, Victor Golley. When the child doesn’t “perform” her mother nearly kills her. The mother is arrested but Golley escapes. Famous Country star, Marty Abby, sings for the child in a coma, not realizing Missy is her greatest fan. In the foster home run by Christopher and his good friend Meg, Missy and the other children begin to feel safe and accepted. Here a startling discovery by Missy brings Marty and the foster family together. Because Missy’s hospitalization was national news, donations poured in. The amount being published brings Golley out of hiding, plotting to get the money. Meg foils his plan but before Golley is killed by police he shoots Meg. With her life hanging in the balance Christopher tells friends of his love for her. But is it too late; will he and the children now lose her?
