Emergency Room

The different between life and death is only seconds. In order to get firsthand experience with emergency medicine—and an edge over the competition—before attending medical school, Seth decides to volunteer at City Hospital. Meanwhile, Diana volunteers in the inner-city ER, hoping to save the world one patient at a time. The one thing these two college freshmen share is the desire to be part of the ER’s action. One night, they’ll get their wish as they confront a student with a gunshot wound, the victim of a gruesome motorcycle accident, and a kidnapping gone horribly awry. Hour by hour, minute by minute, Diana and Seth’s adrenaline-fueled shift will alter the course of their lives—and the lives of everyone in the emergency room—forever.
