This book is not a "how to" or "paint by the numbers" handbook on small-group ministry. This is more of a formalization of a journal of experiences and my thoughts of them in nearly three decades of helping and leading small-group ministries. This book was written in a more general fashion to give the reader more of a sense of freedom to interject his or her own thoughts on how to incorporate many of the examples and ideas presented here.
