The Four Feathers

Redemption can come in many ways. For Harry Feversham, redemption will come only when his three closest friends and his ex-fiancee take back their white feathers. Harry was born into a family of soldiers, and was expected to take his turn as a military man in late 19th century England. However, he leaves his regiment for unexplained reasons only days before they were scheduled to depart for the Sudan. In response, his three closest regimental friends each present him with a single white feather; an accusation of cowardice. Upon the discovery of the feathers, Harry receives a fourth from his fiancée, Ethne. Now, in order to redeem himself, Harry departs to the Sudan to search for service and ways to recover his honor.
