The book contains the fictional journals of a young girl’s journey on the Oregon Trail and settling in Oregon. In journal 1, she records her adventures and relationships on the Oregon Trail. In journal 2, she continues her story and that of her family and friends as they settle in the Willamette Valley in Oregon.
