Chapter Three

This poignant memoir begins on that October morning when the author’s husband died. We follow her as she picks up the pieces of her life and begins her new life alone. Through flashbacks, we see her husband’s battle with Parkinson’s Disease and her own twenty-seven year struggle with epilepsy. Woven throughout are her thoughts about life and death, parenting, and care giving. Underlying it all is her strong and simple faith.
