Matthew Learns 7 Useful Rules

Throughout the course of the story, Matthew is placed in seven different scenarios where his parents teach and remind him about rules that are useful and can be applied at home and at school. The rules teach about honesty, responsibility, safety, organization, and respecting property that belongs to yourself or others. I believe that these rules, if practiced every day at home or in school, will help influence children to be more responsible and productive individuals.
