The Half-Brothers

This is a short story about a young teen who is the darling of the family and his awkward older half brother Gregory; they have lost their mother early in life. That pretty much sets the tone for the whole story. One winter day the younger brother who was been sent on an errand by his father, finds himself taking a short cut home. Clearly, this was not a wise decision. Snow is falling and night is setting in fast. Is help on the way?
