The Land of the Blue Flower

This charming story tells of an orphaned king who as a baby is taken from the world of greed and war and raised in the mountains by a wise and kindly old scholar. When he grows tall and strong he is able to change an entire kingdom, through the power of love, by commanding that each person nurture a blue flower from the Emperor's secret garden. "There is no time for Anger!" describes the basis for this delightful allegory as everyone is uplifted by their experience. A must for all young readers.
