The End for Which God Created the World

Jonathan Edwards was a Puritan preacher and philosopher who contributed greatly to the Reformed theology. Edwards was also a popular writer whose books and sermons are still read by many Christians today.

In Edward's book The End for Which God Created the World he argues that God's aim in creating the world was to magnify his own glory and name rather than for human happiness.
