Black People Dance

I knew of racism, but only experienced it in small bouts, that is, until I got to college. Being a first generation, black, college student at a predominately white institution was hard. Here is my journey through that. Within the pages of this book is love, pain, heartbreak, heartache, anger, forgiveness, self hate, and (most importantly) self love. I grew so much from my journey writing this. So many tears were cried, so many realizations came about. My soul and heart in a book.
