This book is a combination of facts about Kimberly’s life and certain embellishments. Names, dates, places, events, and details have been changed, invented, and altered for literary effect. The reader should not consider this book anything other than a work of fiction. The stories in this book start shortly before the declaration of World War II. Then, the years during and after the end of the war. The other main wars involving the United States, the Korean war, The Vietnam war and the Gulf war. The book also mentions episodes of the women’s liberation movement. Child abuse and women’s domestic violence abuse are presented. There’s also mention of women’s equality at work, mainly equal pay.
