On the Outskirts

The paths we are on seem to be guided by the good we want out of life, but all too often, we forget about our own struggles and the struggles of others. This journey that I bring you on is a brief look inside my personal struggles with things such as acceptance, depression, vulnerability, and much more. However, I have lived a life where being strong was the only option not only physically and mentally, but also because society places stigmas upon us all. "On the Outskirts" was written to help people understand that struggling is OK because it's natural, but we must never lose track of where our path is heading and do our best to keep a vision. The poetry in this book was written to help me understand situations in my life, but also to help others who struggle as well. This book will help you see that motivation and leadership is everywhere and comes from all aspects of life. At the same time, it will help you see things from a different perspective as I have sought understanding from avenues I never expected.
