For many an age, Earth had been watched by an ancient artifact drifting through the depths of interplanetary space. The alien craft had waited patiently to be caught by the hand of man. For the weird object’s purpose was to deliver a story of its tormented history as well as bring a warning to humanity—that the discovery of new and advanced technology would bring a far larger responsibility than anyone had ever conceived.
