Never in a million years did I think that I would be someone’s mistress, “The Other Woman,” or even worse, a home wrecker. Never did I think t hat I would put all my values and morals on the back burner for the sake of a man who was there for me at his own convenience and not when I needed him. Never did I think that I would be fool enough to put up with coming second, when I knew that I deserved to be first. Oh well, we all do things we regret, right? Messing around with someone else’s husband was first on my list. It made me feel low, lower than low. All the money this man generously gifted and I still felt cheaper than a $2 whore…Now that’s bad! My mama once told me, “We all fall short of the glory, we are human and bound to make mistakes, but as we grow, we learn from them…” And like always, Mama was right.
