The results of Albert Kurek’s many years of research are found in his book “The Troopers Are Coming”. His information was taken from newspapers, court records and recollections of those who served. It is a historically accurate account of the first 25 years of the New York Troopers with emphasis on Western New York. It provides the reader with a view of the everyday life of the early troopers.
