The Abysss

The Abyss is a novel depicting a prominent attorney whose story begins when he is diagnosed with the dreaded Alzheimer’s disease, which afflicts so many today. It takes the reader through the agonies, the sometimes “good” days, and the forever hopes of the patient’s family that the patient will be cured before their loved one succumbs to that heartbreaking end. It gives us all a motivation to help physicians and researchers find the cause and cure of a disease that causes so many families and patients heartache and distress. At the least, if it should happen to someone you love, it will help family and friends have more understanding and sympathy for the patient.
