He had some memorable experiences, including dancing with a pirate in Gibraltar, appearing on stage with drag queens in Sydney, and staying in a Brazilian brothel. Fun times that were off-set by muggers, animal attacks, crashes, tempestuous weather and dangerously insane road users.
Do It is a chatty, informal, occasionally shocking, and sometimes hilarious memoir of a fantastic adventure which shares with the reader the pleasures and perils of cycling around the world. Along the way, often aided by considerable qualities of alcohol, Adrian discovers the world is both stranger and more wonderful than he ever imagined.
The story starts in a Romford pub with Adrian's friend saying 'Do it!' and ends in the same pub a year later with Adrian saying to that same friend, 'Done it!'. Battered and bruised but realising he was lucky to be alive Adrian returned to England in 2016.
Then he wrote this book.
