Roman Frederick Starzl was an American author, and the father of Thomas E. Starzl. He, and earlier, his father, owned the Le Mars Globe-Post newspaper of Le Mars, Iowa.
One of his most famous sci-fi works was We Didn’t Do Anything Wrong, Hardly, which appeared in a pulp magazine in the mid-20th century. This story was about the protagonist’s attempt to build a workable space ship, and the trouble he has with the project.
