The Colors of Life

… Beams of bright light

stream across the darkened rooftop

to reflect upon

the calm water,

cutting through the lingering shadows

while a bevy of pearly white swans

glides peacefully about.

Jeffrey M. Russo is inspired by the colors of life that have permeated his personal journey for many years.
