The Broken Curse

The curse itself occurred in Game 4 of the 1945 World Series. Billy goat tavern owner William Sianis was asked to leave Wrigley Field because the odor of his pet goat bothered other fans. He then uttered his famous words, “Them Cubs, they ain’t gonna win no more.”
