Nikki is a computer programmer who, with the help of a mysterious stranger, opens a portal to a world of magic entities and aliens. When she winds up marrying the stranger both are surprised at just what the two create together.
.... She looked at the computer on the table, it had stopped on a configuration of the pentacles that she had not seen before and directly in front of her was an orb of light that began to grow. Nikki backed up against the wall as Geronimo went flying by her on his way to under the bed. The orb grew and pulsated until it was large enough for a person to walk into. Nikki looked back to the computer the pentacles were still in the same configuration and the program had stopped. "Well" came a voice from the orb "It seems you have opened the door that you have been looking for, why don't you walk through the orb and step into another world? If you believe that other worlds and time travel exist."
