Winston Churchill was the legendary Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. Churchill also served as an officer in the British Army and he was the first person to be named an honorary citizen of the United States of America. Churchill was also a well-respected writer and his efforts were rewarded by winning the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1953.

Savrola: A Tale of the Revolution in Laurania, published in 1898, is Churchill’s only novel. The action follows the title character who is a liberal opposition leader in the republic of Laurania. What will happen when the dictator’s wife falls in love with Savrola?
