It exists.
The first Coven recorded in the Detroit-metro area was established in 1703 from witches and warlocks who lived in the Hartz Mountains of Germany. Some say they are still active in the Detroit area.
A teenager came to me asking for help from a very wealthy family in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He had become active in a Coven and wanted to get out of it. When we first met, he was terrified. He shared with me some of the rituals and how he had been recruited. As with most teenagers, sex, drugs and exotic secret rituals are appealing and Satanic groups form innocent feeder clubs from which to select their young members.
I researched Covens and witchcraft in the Detroit area and was surprised how much information is available concerning modern Satanic worship. I wove in facts with fiction to tell a part of the boy's story.
