MARY THE MARVELOUS

Mary Sue is staying a few days with Aunt Betsy. But they are not happy days. It seems neither Mary Sue nor her dog can do anything. One day Mary Sue and her dog go out for a walk and find a large hollow stump with a ladder going down. Soon they find themselves in an unusual land. Even more unusual, everyone seems to know them as Mary the Marvelous and Perfect Pooch, and everyone is so glad they have come to help King Dindy with the Trouble. Mary Sue is not sure she can help, but she thinks it would be interesting to meet a King. And so starts her adventure in a land full of surprises, some more pleasant than others.
