Advice and Recipes for People with Crohn's and Colitis

"Who better to give advice to those suffering from a digestive illnesses, than from someone living with one too?"

I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis back in 2009, at the age of 28. I have learned a lot of useful tips to minimize the pain and trips to the bathroom during my seven year battle (which is not over), and by talking to many others suffering from IBD. I also had to change my diet, during which I either modified or invented my own recipes to create easy to digest snacks and meals. I wanted to share my insights in hopes that they might help you better deal with your illness.
