Stories For French is a collection of short stories selected with a pedagogical interest in mind... to give new readers in French literature to read in a both interesting and progressive way...

Most learners of French never make it to reading books... or even stories...
They either use or don't use their command of French to some extent in the course of their job and... leave it at that...
All the same teachers regularly get requests for books and reading material from their students... and here is a good start...

Training people over the years has shown me the need for a carefully chosen selection that would motivate -while encourage- the learners to take their command of French beyond this... let them keep learning while they are enjoying the read... the way I had already done it with songs and music in Singin' To English... and I encourage French teachers to do likewise with French songs...
