Appalachian Folksongs

Four Appalachian stories are told in verse, from growing up, to World War Two, to Independence Day and a family reunion in 1960. It ranges from solitude to the inescapable possibility of eyes watching us from afar as we begin to probe the wide open spaces around our planet and solar system. Our interactions become all the more important - as important as the steadiness of a folksong through times of accelerating change.
