Moonlight Curse: Almost Human

Living in the city of Detroit, one would assume Skylar White is a perfectly average seventeen-year-old girl. She has problems sleeping, she goes to school, and she has a fairly normal social life. Yet what most people aren’t entirely aware of is that her entirely family harbors a dark secret—all three of them suffer from lycanthropy. On the full moon, each of them becomes a werewolf! It’s mid-February and the eve of the full moon. It is already a very taxing time for the young Skylar. When an incident occurs in her home, she is forced to go into hiding, making her life all the worse. Between self-proclaimed beast hunters and whatever put a wedge between herself and her family, how is the girl to survive? The answer is Logan, the local sheriff’s son. The second story, Moonlight Curse: Almost Human, is set from the perspective of Logan. It is a first-person account of both the day before he realized Skylar was a lycan and the ensuing hunt he and his father go on. However, can Logan truly live up to his duties as a hunter, or will his own feelings toward supposed monsters trump his other role?
