Prayers of my Mother is a five-part book of inspirational prayers. Part One, “Blessed Trinity,” is intended to encourage you to become in tune with your calling or spiritual gift(s) through meditation. It stresses patience and dependence on God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit throughout all circumstances. Part Two, “Identifiable Characteristics,” focuses on how others see you. Part Three discusses “Life’s Relationships,” and includes your BFFs (best friends forever and boyfriends forever), and the effects these relationships have on you. Part Four, “Personal Challenges,” highlights how you see yourself and how you cope with those images. Part Five, “Spiritual Challenges,” depicts struggles and weaknesses in life as you prepare for the end of times. Many of the daily devotionals shared within the pages of Prayers of my Mother unveiled Carolyn's real life anecdotes which were deeply hidden in her past and most times forgotten. The more she shared her journey with others, the more anecdotes she recalled. She has shared her trials and tribulations to encourage, console and heal, and hopefully bring peace and reconciliation to many. It is her utmost desire that Prayers of my Mother inspires many to seek a relationship with God, with the understanding that most times it is because of your trials and tribulations that you can hear Him, but you must learn Listening With A Different Ear.
