In the winter of 1921, on February 19, before cars were a household item, before telephones were more popular than letters, the woman behind a nearly century old legacy was born. Ada May Kahlich started her love for art long before she started a family. Though her family always came first, it was obvious that she never felt more at peace than when a paint brush filled her hand.
