Counting Days is the debut collection of poems by Erric Emerson, a poet residing in Philadelphia. Contained within these pages- bizarre, surreal, and bracing poetry which examines the madness of struggling against monotony, the mundane nature of adult life and unreliable attempts to mark days towards some unseen goal. The speaker, a reckless, opposing voice finds himself lost amidst a plethora of excitements and disturbances.
