It is time to break the chains. For as long as I could remember, black people have always been judged by the smoke and mirrors. Statistics crunched to fit images formed by people who would not know the first thing about being black. No more statistics. No more stereotypes. We are more than what we are perceived to be. Being black goes deeper than trends and physical beauty.
